Riad Chayma

Riad Chayma is located in the traditional Bab Doukkala neighbourhood of the Medina within a minutes walk of the 12th Century Medina Gate ('Bab') where taxis are readily available. We are perfectly positioned in between the heart of the 'old city' Medina - Djemaa El Fna, and the heart of the 'new city of' Gueliz - Marrakesh Plaza. Each of these destinations can be easily reached within a 10 minute walk.

Bab Doukkala is famous for its 'non-touristy' neighbourhood market, otherwise known as the food souk. Right outside the Riad doors you can find a selection of spices, preserved lemons, earthenware tagines, fresh fruit, baked goods and other gourmet goodies. Within a 5 minute stroll you will find yourself immersed in a labyrinth of alleys as the many -different souks begin to unfold.

We are a 15 minute taxi ride from Marrakesh International Airport - door to door transfers can be arranged at time of booking.
