The Capaldi is a luxury, country retreat in the foothills of the Atlas Mountains, 35-40 minutes drive from Marrakesh. The hotel has 23 rooms with nine different room catergories. Set in 4 hectares with olives trees and well-kept gardens, the hotel offers a relaxed environment where everything is individually designed with the hotel guests in mind. Two pools (the smaller one is always heated in winter), an international cuisine restaurant, intimate spa and private cinema are just some of what is available.
The Capaldi’s mission is to make your stay exactly what you would wish for. The rooms have king-size beds as standard, fireplaces (lit on request in the winter months), build-in wardrobes, central heating and en-suite shower/bathrooms – a harmonious combination of rustic country touches, contemporary design and Moroccan influences. Breakfast is served in the communal lounge area by the fireplace, or if preferred on the larger roof terrace overlooking the mountains. There are numerous places for guests to relax, whether by the pool bar, the salon or library.
There are two outdoor covered loggias with firpelaces and other shaded areas to relax in. There is also plenty of room for sunbathing with sunloungers and parasols by the pool areas. All the en-suite bathrooms have showers with Italian fittings and finished in a local polished plaster called ‘tadelakt’. The hotel’s restaurant serves excellent local cuisine, Mediterranean dishes and international specialities. Vegetarian and other dietary requirements are well catered for. The cinema offers free screenings for guests (booking required) and there is a large library of new movies and old classics to choose from. The Cinema is also available for private screenings and presentations.
There are excursions from the hotel, including an excellent half day walk with a local mountain guide, dune buggying, camel-riding and horse-riding. Walks from the hotel can also be arranged to the nearby lake at Lalla Takerkoust.

Standard Farmhouse
Both of these rooms are situated on the ground floor, off the sheltered courtyard of the renovated old farmhouse looking onto the palm garden. King size mattress, fireplace, built-in wardrobes, en suite shower room in tadelakt with traditional copper fittings and central heating.
Farmhouse with terrace
Each of these 3 rooms is situated on the ground floor and have private terraces with direct access to the bedrooms, all with open fireplaces, built-in wardrobes, en suite shower room in tadelakt with traditional copper fittings and central heating.
Prestige room
These 4 rooms are located near the main hotel reception overlooking a sheltered courtyard. Spacious in size with cozy sitting areas and open fires. Behind the bedroom is a dressing area, a bathroom with separate shower, bath and WC.
Superior Farmhouse
Both of these suites are on the 1st floor of the renovated old farmhouse. Each room has its own large, furnished roof terrace. The bedrooms have an open fireplace and seating area
Garden room
Two spacious King size rooms located within the garden. Both have a seating area and fireplace in the bedroom leading out to a private terrace. Each has a separate dressing area and shower room with separate WC.
Atlas room
Two rooms located on the first floor of the main hotel, with stunning views from the Juliet balcony overlooking the gardens, pool and onto the mountains. Spacious in size with small sitting areas and open fires. There is dressing area within the bathroom, with separate shower, bath and WC.
Junior garden suite
These four spacious king size rooms are located within two small bungalows set within the gardens. All feature an open fireplace in the bedroom and terrace with stunning views
Deluxe suite
These two spacious king size rooms are located within two small bungalows set within the gardens. All feature an open fireplace in the bedroom and terrace with stunning views. Each has a dressing area, bathroom with separate shower bath and WC. All the showers have a door opening into a tiny courtyard.
Deluxe pool suite
These two suites are located in the garden and each boasts its own private heated pool (7x3m), private garden area and covered loggia with stunning views and complete privacy. The bedrooms feature a seating area with sofa and armchairs surrounding an open fire. There is a separate dressing area within the bathroom. The bath, shower and WC are all separate and the shower has a door opening onto the garden.
