In keeping with the traditional Moroccan style, Riad Carina is built and decorated in a charming Berber design; you will find all the natural materials used by the Berber people of Morocco, like natural stone, burnt bricks, terracotta, clay and wood.
The Patio of the Riad Carina is the perfect space to sit, eat, and unwind. Even during a hot summer day you will feel a fresh atmosphere in the sun covered Patio with its cooling water basin. Riad Carina’s large terrace offers a unique view of Palais El Badi, the medina and beyond. Here you can relax in the flowery pergola or relax under the shade of the olive trees in the vast terrace with company from the nesting storks.
On the first floor of the Riad Carina you will find the main guest room area. From here you can overlook the Patio on the ground floor and see the blue sky of Marrakech. All 5 guest-rooms are decorated in the same natural style; expect natural stones and clay as well as the special Moroccan painting in tadlakt, terracotta tiles and hand-basin in zellige. All rooms feature en-suite bathrooms, WiFi access and air-conditioning.
In the morning, a varied breakfast or brunch will be served wherever you want, either on the terrace, in the Patio or in your room. After a day in the Medina, a mint tea with pastries will be offered in the afternoon, and for dinner either a Moroccan or International cuisine is available if you decide to chill out “at home”.
