Located 13km from the centre of Marrakech, on the road to Ouarzazate, Villa Dinari provides the perfect antidote to the hustle and bustle of town, whilst remaining close enough to dip in and enjoy the fabulous sites and restaurants that Marrakech has to offer. The owners of Villa Dinari, Abdul and Heather, are accomplished hosts with a local knowledge to share and stories to tell. Abdul has been a national tour leader for over 20 years and can offer invaluable knowledge. He is also able to arrange bespoke tours ranging from the imperial cities, to camel trekking in the desert. Heather, an English clothing designer, has bought her innate sense of style to the decor of Villa Dinari.
Set in a hectare of landscaped gardens, Villa Dinari is the epitome of calm and tranquility. Approached via an impressive cacti garden and with views of the Atlas Mountains, it is perfectly situated for trips into town, but also excursions over the High Atlas to the deserts.
Lunch or dinner, both Moroccan and international cuisine, can be provided at Villa Dinari for those too weary to venture back into the chaos of Marrakech. Transport can be arranged for those wishing to dine in town.
With its great access to the town and fabulous gardens, Villa Dinari is the perfect place for the discerning client who wants to enjoy Marrakech, but from the luxury of a staffed private house.

Villa Dinari Rooms
Blue Twin Room
Twin Room, or Double room on request.
The latest addition to Villa Dinari, the twin room is decorated in shades of calming blue and comes complete with an en-suite bathroom and air-conditioned. Although it it has its own terrace and all the facilities of the other rooms, this room is a little smaller making it perfect for travelling friends, or parents bringing teenagers with them.
Beds can be made into a large double, but the room is less spacious with this arrangement.

Amazigh Room
Double or Twin room.
This is a large twin/double room decorated in bright sunny colours. The room features an en-suite tadelakt shower room and air-conditioning and a large shared sunny terrace overlooking the garden Local Moroccan art work adorns the walls, and rich woven fabrics have been used to give this room a rustic, homely feel. Perfect for family and friends on holiday together.

Gatehouse Room

Situated at the main gate house of the hotel, this is a perfect room for a romantic getaway.

Silver Room
Double or Twin room.
This double or twin room is decorated with soft silver grey tones and turquoise accessories making it the perfect space to unwind. Expect plenty of cool, modern touches and period black and white photo gallery. The Silver Room also features an en-suite tadalakt shower room and a large shared sunny terrace overlooking the garden.

Colonial Room
Double room.
This large double bedroom is decorated in a colonial style of soft creams, beige and browns, and comes complete with en-suite tadelakt bathroom. The Colonial Room is situated off the central riad courtyard of the main house at Villa Dinari, with its lush foliage and water feature, it has its own terrace.

Oriental room
Double room.
This large double bedroom is decorated in an oriental style with soft greens and creams and comes complete with French windows that open onto the garden, and a luxury en-suite bathroom. The Oriental room is situated of off the central courtyard of the main house at Villa Dinari, with its lush foliage and water feature, it has its own terrace.

Kasbah Suite
Double or Twin room.
The Kasbah Suite is an amply sized junior suite featuring portrait photos of Berber and desert nomads, peacfeul dove grey walls and fuchsia hand woven textiles. Situated in our newly built annex, it has large French windows leading out to a semi-private terrace with a view of the gardens. Tadelakt en-suite bath/shower room and cosy seating area. The Kasbah suite is situated next to the Blue twin, Amazigh and Silver rooms, making it the perfect choice for parents who want to be close to their children.

Garden Suite
Double or Twin room, with extra bed on request.
Surrounded by the foliage of Villa Dinari and an extensive cacti garden, the Garden Studio is perfect for relaxing in your own private world. Decorated with artisan pieces and a palette of soft creams, mochas and splashes of red, you feel instantly at peace on entering.
The studio is air-conditioned with a large double bed and cushioned seating area, a small kitchenette, an en-suite bathroom with shower and bath tub, a large private terrace where breakfast or lunch may be served.
The studio may sleep 3 with an added fold up bed, if required.

Dinari Suite

The Dinari Suite is a private bungalow tucked away in a secluded part of the beautiful gardens at Villa Dinari, offering its own little corner of paradise, with views over the entire garden and swimming pool. It is very private, perfect for a romantic getaway. Alternatively, extra beds can be added, if required, to accommodate 4 people.
Stylishly decorated in a palette of soft greens and chocolate browns, the suite is fully air-conditioned and features a large double bedroom, spacious living area, fully equipped kitchen and an en-suite bathroom. It has a private terrace and sunbathing area, where breakfast and lunch can be served.

Eating at Villa Dinari
Eating is a very important affair at Villa Dinari. Our love of food, and Moroccan food in particular, has led us to experiment with many different recipes known and loved by our clients. Nezha, our amazing chef and housekeeper, has worked with us over the years to create our very own traditional menu – with a twist – for our guests. Each famous dish is just a little different to the cuisine you will find in the Moroccan restaurants in town.

Trips and Excursions
From the world famous Souks to the ever-lively Jemaa el Fna square, and from the cultural heritage sites to world class museums, there is so much things to do and things to see in Marrakech.
Here at Hip Marrakech we also offer a variety of excursion and tours in and around Marrakech from day trips to the Atlas Mountains to day trips to the desert. Here are a few examples of the trips and excursions we offer:
Ouzoud waterfalls
For the more adventurous a three hour drive will take you to the mid Atlas and the majestic Ouzoud waterfalls, the highest in North Africa, with three spectacular tiers. This is also the home of the famous Barbary apes, the naturally tail-less monkeys that you find performing in the main square in Marrakech. It is delightful to see them roaming free in their native habitat.

Kasbahs
Ait Ben Haddou is a world heritage site that has been the backdrop to a remarkable 16 feature films including Gladiator, The Man Who Would Be King and Marco Polo.
The driving time is normally four to five hours covering 190 miles. Your party will have exclusive use of the vehicle and can vary the itinerary as you wish, the driver can recommend viewing points and stops along the way.

Duration: A day trip of approximately 10 to 11 hours
A night in the Desert
The desert is not so close to Marrakech, more than a hundred and fifty miles, and of course the Atlas mountain range sits in the way so the route to the Sahara at Zagara is seven hours drive. That makes a one-night excursion to the dessert a packed itinerary. Leave Marrakech at 8.00 am, drive down via Ait Ben Haddou stopping at its famous Kasbah then Ourzazate and on to Zagora.
