Dar Donab was once part of the Dar El Glaoui's palace. Today, the interior of this wonderful hotel reflects it's glorious past: old meets new as traditional Moorish architecture coexist with contemporary design to create a hotel that mimics the Moroccan homes of a bygone era, with all the advantages of modern living.

Typical of the region, Moorish architecture is identified by zelliges and marble floors, ceilings and doors of carved cedar decorated with colored motifs, curios and fine canvases. Dar Donab features all of this and more; it is a house filled with history and renovated with taste, an enchanting setting in the heart of a city full of legend and tradition.

Ultimately, Dar Donab is a small palace, of unique style, that preserves the tradition of Moroccan hospitality, and yet exudes taste, culture and style.

Essaouira
Previously known by its Portuguese name Mogador, a fortress still commands the entrance to the harbour and the Medina itself has walled ramparts. Essaouira is usually much cooler than Marrakech and can be windy at times, it is no coincidence that the world wind surf championships are held here.

Ourika Valley
Our top destination for a day trip is along the beautiful Ourika Valley to the waterfall at Setti-Fatma, You will have an English speaking driver and a comfortable car or Minibus with air conditioning. Your party will have exclusive use of the vehicle and can vary the itinerary as you wish, the driver can recommend viewing points and stops along the way.
